Polyvit B plus is a food supplement that contains vitamins of the B group, including active folate. B group vitamins - B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B7 (biotin), B9 (folic acid) and B12 (cyanocobalamin) belong to the group of water-soluble vitamins.
The body cannot synthesize them, so their daily intake through a healthy and balanced diet is necessary.Polyvit B plus is a nutritional supplement that contains B vitamin complex, including active folate (L-methylfolate).

By applying the preparation Polyvit B plus the daily needs of the organism are met folates and others B group vitamins. Folic acid (vitamin B9) represents an inactive form that the organism can use only when enzymes convert it into an active form - active folate i.e. L - methylfolate. It is assumed that between 40% and 60% of the world population, due to genetic polymorphism, does not have the possibility of converting folic acid into active folate, bioavailable form, which the body can use. Hence, supplementation active folate, may be the best option for avoiding folic acid deficiency, due to the poorer bioavailability of folic acid itself.
