  1. WHAT IS THE DRUG AVARICON AND WHAT IS IT FOR?<\/strong><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Avaricon is used to treat symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) (tired, heavy, swollen, painful legs, cramps, numbness, and "restless" legs) and acute hemorrhoidal syndrome.<\/p>\n

    Avaricon also acts on the smallest blood vessels (capillaries) by reducing the permeability of water and other substances through the wall. In patients with varicose veins and other diseases of the veins in the legs, these small blood vessels have high permeability, which causes swelling of the ankles. Avaricon reduces this swelling and relieves general symptoms such as sore, tired, heavy legs and cramps. It is recommended that such patients wear elastic bandages (eg compression stockings).<\/p>\n

    In hemorrhoids, Avaricon will reduce the swelling around the anus and relieve symptoms such as itching, bleeding and wetting.<\/p>\n

    2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU TAKE AVARICON<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

    Avaricon should not be used:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

    if you are hypersensitive to the active substance or to any other ingredient of Avaricon.<\/p>\n

    When taking Avaricon, take special care:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

    There are no special warnings.<\/p>\n

    Application of other drugs:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

    No known interactions<\/p>\n

    Taking Avaricon with food or drink:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

    It is recommended to take Avaricon with a meal.<\/p>\n

    Use of Avaricon during pregnancy and breastfeeding:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

    Considering that data on the use of Avaricon in the first months of pregnancy are scarce, this drug should be used during pregnancy only after consultation with your doctor.<\/p>\n

    No studies have been conducted in humans to show whether troxerutin passes into milk. In animal studies, a small amount of troxerutin was observed in milk, even at high administered doses, without affecting the offspring.<\/p>\n

    Before you start taking any medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist.<\/p>\n

    The effect of Avariconna on driving and operating machinery:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

    The drug Avaricon does not affect the ability to drive motor vehicles and operate machines.<\/p>\n

    1. HOW TO USE THE DRUG AVARICON<\/strong><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Take Avaricon exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are not absolutely sure, check with your doctor or pharmacist.<\/p>\n

      The drug Avaricon is intended for oral administration.<\/p>\n

      The recommended starting dose is:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

      300 mg (1 capsule) three times a day until symptoms subside. The maintenance dose is 300 mg (1 capsule) twice a day. Therapy should last at least 2-4 weeks.<\/p>\n

      Capsules should be swallowed whole, with a sufficient amount of liquid, preferably during a meal, to prevent irritation of the gastro-intestinal tract.<\/p>\n

      Hemorrhoids:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

      If the signs of acute hemorrhoidal symptoms do not disappear within 15 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice.<\/p>\n

      Venous insufficiency:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

      This therapy achieves the best results in combination with healthy lifestyle habits. Exposure to sunlight, heat, prolonged standing and weight gain should be avoided. Walking and wearing special socks for veins improve venous circulation.<\/p>\n

      If you have taken more Avaricon than you should:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

      There are no known cases of poisoning due to an overdose of Avaricon.<\/p>\n

      If you forget to take Avaricon:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

      Never take a double dose of medicine to make up for a missed dose! Continue taking the next dose of medicine at the usual\/scheduled time.<\/p>\n

      1. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS<\/strong><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The drug Avaricon, like other drugs, can have side effects, although they may not occur in everyone.<\/p>\n

        When using the drug, the following side effects were reported, which were ranked based on frequency: very common (>1\/10), common (>1\/100, <1\/10), occasional (>1\/1000, <1\/100) , rare ( >1\/10000, <1\/1000 ), very rare ( <1\/10000 ), frequency unknown (cannot be estimated from available data).<\/p>\n

        Mild adverse reactions (allergic skin reactions, gastrointestinal disturbances, headache, flushing) have been reported very rarely, which disappeared quickly after discontinuation of therapy.<\/p>\n

            Avaricon 300 mg capsules contain yellow granules in two-part, opaque, burgundy-black hard capsules. The body of the capsule is burgundy, opaque, and the cap is black, opaque.
            \nOne original package contains three blisters with 10 capsules each and instructions for use in a cardboard box.<\/p>\n
