Plastični obod cucle oblikovan je tako da se idealno prilagođava obliku bebinih usta i vilice kako ne bi došlo do deformacija viličnih kostiju.
Dve bočne rupice na plastičnom obodu obezbeđuju optimalan dovod vazduha, a sama varalica ima integrisan kanal za cirkulaciju vazduha koji sprečava nakupljanje tečnosti iz usta. Tako vazduh može da cirkuliše, čime se sprečava crvenilo i iritacija oko bebinih usta.
Nuk varalica je potpuno bezbedna budući da ne sadrži Bisfenol A.
