Mucoplant cough syrup with ivy extract is a herbal medicine that is used as an expectorant in productive coughs, in adults, adolescents and children older than 2 years.
Dosage and method of use:
Children aged 2-5 years:
7.5 mL three times a day (equivalent to 34.65 mg of dry ivy leaf extract per day).
Children aged 6-12 years:
15 mL three times a day (equivalent to 69.30 mg of dry ivy leaf extract per day).
Adults, adolescents and children over 12 years old:
20 mL three times a day (equivalent to 92.40 mg of dry ivy leaf extract per day).
The use of the drug in children under 2 years of age is contraindicated.
Composition :
ACTIVE SUBSTANCE: 100 mL of syrup contains 0.154 g of dry extract of ivy leaves (Hedera helix L. folium (4-8:1), extractant: Ethanol 30% (m/m).
OTHER INGREDIENTS: Potassium sorbate, Hyatellose, Blackcurrant aroma, Maltitol solution, Citric acid, Purified water.
