Comfrey gel is used for local pain relief, which may be the result of bone fractures, ligament damage, tissue injuries, swelling, bruises, insect bites or symptoms of rheumatic disease. Thanks to its rich composition, it has an anti-inflammatory, soothing effect and accelerates the healing process.
The gel is applied in a thin layer to the painful, injured area, gently rubbed until completely absorbed, several times a day. It should not be applied to open and infected wounds.
The main component of the gel is comfrey root extract. The active substances in this extract are: allantoin - accelerates tissue renewal, mucus - has a soothing effect, saponosides - antimicrobial.
