Intesta 60 capsules

Intesta is a dietary product that is used for nutritional needs in patients on standard drug therapy or as an independent treatment in the following cases:

-Irritable bowel syndrome (Irritable colon syndrome)
- Inflammatory diseases of the intestinal mucosa (including inflammatory bowel diseases, diarrhea of various etiologies)
- Disturbance of intestinal flora
-Intestinal infections and diarrhea (including diarrhea due to the use of antibiotics)
- Deficiency of short-chain fatty acids
- Intestinal inflammation in a cancerous condition after radiotherapy and chemotherapy

Inflammatory bowel diseases are idiopathic chronic inflammations of the intestines. The group of inflammatory bowel diseases includes: Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and indeterminate colitis.

Mechanism of action: One of the main functions of colonic bacteria is the fermentation of indigestible remains of fibers and carbohydrates, such as starch, pectins, cellulose. Fermentation leads to the formation of short-chain fatty acids (SFCA), of which the most abundant are acetate, propionate and butyrate.

Dosage and method of use:

Adults: 1 capsule twice a day, in the morning and in the evening with a meal or according to the doctor's recommendation. It is recommended to use the product for at least 3 months.

Children over 7 years old: 1 capsule per day, preferably in the evening with a meal. It is recommended to use the product for at least 6 weeks. Depending on individual requirements, the doctor may recommend a different dosage of the product.

One capsule of the product Intestine contains 500 mg of microgranulated sodium butyrate and vegetable triglycerides, which is equivalent to 150 mg of sodium butyrate. The microgranular composition enables the controlled release of sodium butyrate.

The product is not suitable for use as the only source of food, the product must be used under medical supervision, it is intended for adults and children over 7 years of age. Do not take if there is hypersensitivity/allergy to any component of the product, do not use during pregnancy and lactation, the product must not be used if there is no medical condition for which it is intended.
