Microlife digital thermometer MT16F1

Digital thermometer Microlife MT 16F1 is a thermometer intended for home use. It notifies with a sound signal when the temperature has been measured. It measures temperature orally (in the mouth), rectally (in the anus) and axillary (under the armpit).

Stores one measurement.

The result is given in about 60 seconds when the temperature is measured orally (place the thermometer under the root of the tongue) and rectal (recommended for small children and babies), and when measured axillary (under the armpit) the measurement takes 3-5 minutes. For more reliable results, oral or rectal measurement is recommended (disinfect the tip of the thermometer before each use).

The temperature measurement range is: 32.0 – 43.9 °C

It runs on batteries. The battery lasts for about 4,500 measurements and when used up can be purchased at any electrical store.

Normal temperature values:

by mouth: 35.5 – 37.5°C

through the anus: 36.6 - 38.0°C

by armpit: 34.7 – 37.3°C

Way of use: Choose the desired measurement place, turn on the thermometer by pressing the ON/OFF button next to the display, the Beep sound will be heard and L and flashing C will appear, indicating that the thermometer is ready for measurement. All the time during the measurement, the currently measured temperature will be shown on the display and the symbol C will flash. When the measurement is finished, the symbol C will stop flashing and the signal will sound Beep-Beep-Beep 10 times. The number on the display shows the measured temperature. Turn off the thermometer by pressing the ON/OFF button. If you don't turn it off yourself, the thermometer will turn off automatically after 10 minutes.

Warranty: lifetime from the moment of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use of the thermometer. The battery and packaging are excluded from the warranty.

The expected lifetime of the thermometer is 10,000 measurements.
