Balm for damaged skin was created by careful selection of useful ingredients mainly from the nature of our climate. This is very important, because for centuries we have adapted to use plants from our environment. Our organism is prepared to extract the greatest benefit for itself from domestic plants.
It is used for skin damage: burns and scalds, cuts, injuries and wounds, sports injuries, hematomas, decubitus (a type of skin death due to interruption of circulation due to long-term pressure in bedridden patients), skin infections with or without inflammation, autoimmune skin inflammations (psoriasis and eczema).
The active ingredients of propolis and essential oils of tea tree and lavender act:
1. antimicrobial (antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal) - they prevent the development of bacteria, viruses and fungi.
2. anti-inflammatory - they reduce the useless inflammatory reaction and thus redness (rubor), pain (dolor), swelling (tumor), damage to skin function (functiolaesa).
3. immunomodulatory - they increase the body's ability to fight skin infections, autoimmune diseases (psoriasis, eczema) and tumor cells (anti-cancer effect).
4. lavender essential oil especially accelerates epithelization, i.e. healing of visible (macro) and invisible (micro) skin damage, so that the skin defect is covered as soon as possible.
The common active principle of propolis, tea tree essential oil and lavender is 1,8-cineole (eucachoptol, kajeputol). In addition to this active principle, lavender essential oil has the active principles linalyl acetate, linalool and camphor, and tea tree essential oil terpinen-4-ol. Propolis has at least 1,8-cineole, but that's why it has other useful active principles that act antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory, which are mainly quercetin derivatives (bioflavonoids) and caffeic acid derivatives.
The immunomodulatory effect of 1,8-cineole is manifested mostly through an increase in the phagocytic ability of monocytes and macrophages, a type of leukocyte, blood cells that participate in the body's defense against various external (viruses, bacteria, fungi) and internal (tumor) attacks. Phagocytic ability is one of ways of destroying microorganisms and tumor cells. The effect of the active principles is greatest at the point of application, but they have only a milder effect on the whole organism because they easily pass through the skin and enter the lymph and bloodstream.

Method of application:
Wash your hands with soap and water. Immediately before use, wash the place where you will apply the salve with a lukewarm chamomile solution (tea). Dry everything well with a clean towel, gently tapping. Since the balm is harder than the cream, we will explain how to use it to maximize the effects of the balm.
Use a plastic spatula to scrape off some salve and apply it to the cheekbone of your finger. Now apply a thin layer of salve on the affected area with the cheek of your finger.
Gently rub in until the skin absorbs it. Do this at least 3-4 times a day, necessarily in the evening.
After each use, wash the plastic spatula with hot water to remove all grease, and immerse in 70% alcohol in a closed container, so that the alcohol covers the surface of the spatula. Leave it until the next use. Before use, rinse the spatula with lukewarm water.
