This medicine can be obtained without a prescription. However, it is necessary to use the medicine Pressing carefully, in order to achieve the best results with it.
In this guide you will read:
The drug Pressing tablets belongs to a group of drugs known as antihistamines (H1 receptor blockers).
Antihistamines help relieve allergy symptoms by preventing the effects of a substance called histamine, which is produced in the body.
The drug Pressing tablets relieves the symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (eg hay fever), characterized by sneezing, runny nose, or itching and a feeling of irritation in the nose, burning or itching of the eyes.
Lek Pressing tablets are also used to alleviate the symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives), which is characterized by itching and redness.
Lek Pressing should not be taken:
if you have an allergy (hypersensitivity) to loratadine or to any of the excipients of this medicine (see section 6. "Content of excipients").

Other medicines and Pressing
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or may take any other medicines, including those that can be obtained without a prescription.
Tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines:
A potential interaction with all known CYP3A4 or CYP2D6 inhibitors may occur, leading to an increase in loratadine plasma concentrations and an increased possibility of side effects.
An increase in the concentration of loratadine in plasma has been reported after simultaneous administration with ketoconazole (a drug for the treatment of fungal infections), erythromycin (an antibiotic) and cimetidine (a drug for the treatment of ulcers), but without clinically significant changes (including electrocardiographic)
Taking Pressing with food, drinks and alcohol
Lek Pressing can be taken regardless of meal time.
Lek Pressing does not enhance the effects of alcoholic beverages.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
You should not take the drug Pressing during pregnancy.
The drug Pressing should not be taken during breastfeeding, considering that loratadine is excreted in breast milk.
Driving vehicles and operating machines
Lek Pressing Tablets has no or negligible influence on driving and operating machinery.
However, very rarely, some people may experience drowsiness, which may affect the ability to drive and use machines.
Lek Pressing contains lactose
In case of intolerance to certain sugars, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Always take this medicine exactly as stated in this leaflet or as explained to you by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are not sure, check with your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults
One tablet once a day.
Pediatric population
Children aged 6 years and older with a body weight greater than 30 kg
One tablet once a day.
For adequate dosing in children under 6 years of age or whose body weight is less than 30 kg or less, more suitable pharmaceutical formulations are available.
Children under 2 years old
Due to the unavailability of data, the safe use and effectiveness of loratadine tablets has not been established.
Patients with impaired liver function
In patients with severe impairment of liver function, lower initial doses are prescribed due to reduced
clearance values of loratadine.
In adults and children weighing more than 30 kg, an initial dose of 10 mg of loratadine every other day is recommended.
Patients with impaired kidney function
In patients with impaired kidney function or the elderly, no special adjustment of the drug dose is necessary.
Seniors
No dose adjustment is required in elderly patients.
Oral administration
The drug can be taken independently of meals.
If you have taken more Pressing than you should
Take the medicine Pressing tablets only as prescribed. No serious problems are expected in case of accidental overdose. However, if you have taken more Pressing tablets than prescribed, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
Cases of drowsiness, rapid heart rate and headache have been reported in case of an overdose of Pressing tablets.
If you forget to take the medicine Pressing
If you forget to take a dose of the medicine on time, take it as soon as possible and then continue taking the medicine according to the usual schedule. However, if the time for taking the next dose is approaching, continue taking the medicine according to the recommended regimen.
Never take a double dose of medicine to make up for a missed dose!
If you suddenly stop taking the medicine Pressing
Your doctor will advise you when to stop the therapy.
If you have any further questions about the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Frequency not known: cannot be estimated from the available data.
The most frequently reported side effects in adults and adolescents are: drowsiness, headache, increased appetite and insomnia.
Very rarely, cases of severe allergic reactions (including angioedema and anaphylactic reaction), dizziness, convulsions (convulsions), rapid or irregular heartbeat, nausea, dry mouth, inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis), liver dysfunction, fine-grained rash, hair loss have been reported. and feeling tired.
Frequency not known: weight gain.
The most frequently reported side effects in children aged 2 to 12 years are: headache, anxiety and feeling tired.
If any side effect becomes serious or you notice any side effect that is not listed in this guide, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
You must not use the medicine Pressing tablets, after the expiration date indicated on the outer and inner packaging after ("Use by"). The expiration date refers to the last day of the specified month.
Lek Pressing tablet does not require special storage conditions.
Unusable medicines are handed over to the pharmacy, which has a notice that the pharmacy collects unusable medicines from citizens. Unusable medicines must not be thrown into the sewer or together with municipal waste. These measures will help protect the environment.
What does Pressing contain?
The active substances are:
One tablet contains: loratadine 10 mg
Auxiliary substances are: lactose, monohydrate; starch, corn; silica, colloidal, anhydrous; povidone K 30; polysorbate 80; cellulose, microcrystalline; crospovidone; talcum powder; magnesium stearate
What the medicine Pressing looks like and the contents of the package
Lek Pressing tablets are round, biconvex tablets, white to almost white, with a score line on one side.
The dividing line serves only to facilitate breaking the medicine to make it easier to swallow, not to divide the dose into equal doses.
The inner packaging is a blister (Al/PVC foil) with 10 tablets of 10 mg each.
The outer packaging is a collapsible cardboard box containing one blister with 10 tablets and an instruction manual.
