Promomint® Icelandic lichen is a liquid nutritional supplement intended for children and adults, formulated on the basis of propolis, Icelandic lichen, blackberry and vitamin C. Thanks to the effects of the active ingredients, Promomint® Icelandic lichen contributes to the strengthening of immunity and has a beneficial effect in cases of colds and flu. Its preventive application provides excellent protection against viruses, so it is recommended in periods when respiratory infections are frequent.

Icelandic lichen is important for the proper function of the respiratory system and its application results in relief of the feeling of irritation and scratching of the throat and pharynx. Icelandic lichen is traditionally used for the symptomatic treatment of oral and pharyngeal irritation accompanied by a dry cough because it contains mucus that coats and protects the mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract, which leads to relief of dry cough. The fruit is rich in flavonoids (anthocyanins), minerals and B vitamins1, B2, B6 and C.
Clinically, the positive effects of black currant fruit have been proven in terms of reducing the intensity and duration of symptoms of viral infections of the upper parts of the respiratory tract. In studies, it has been shown that the active components of blackberry fruit extract, by binding to the virus, prevent its entry into cells, inhibit the replication of the virus and improve the immune response by stimulating the synthesis of certain cytokines.
U Promomint® Icelandic lichen is incorporated propolis extract produced by a special, patented MED® extraction technology. The obtained propolis extract is standardized for polyphenols, where the polyphenol complex of quercetin, apigenin, pinobanksin, chrysin, pinocembrin and galangin is the most important for the beneficial effects on the immune system and the health of the upper respiratory tract. Antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action Propolis MED extract is particularly useful in the prevention and treatment of respiratory infections.
Vitamin C it contributes to the proper function of the immune and nervous systems, to the reduction of fatigue and exhaustion, and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Dosage and method of use
Children from 3 to 6 years old - Twice a day, one coffee spoon (5 ml).
Adults and children older than 6 years - Twice a day per tablespoon (15ml).
Shake before use.
Composition: In 10ml - Liquid hydroglycerin extract of propolis (standardized to 12 mg/ml polyphenols) 600mg, Dry extract of the thallus of Iceland lichen (standardized to 30% polysaccharides) 324 mg, Dry extract of the fruit of zove (standardized to min. 6% anthocyanidins) 195 mg, Vitamin C ( L-ascorbic acid) 80.4 mg
