The liquid used to measure the temperature does not contain mercury, but a mixture of other liquid metals: gallium, indium, tin. The mentioned substances are completely non-toxic, both for people and for the environment. The thermometers are designed and manufactured in accordance with the European Directive of the EU Council. How to use: Clean the thermometer thoroughly before and after each use. In order to return the liquid inside the thermometer to the initial level of 35°C, it is necessary to return the thermometer to the plastic case, screw on the flexible green cap and shake it several times, holding it firmly by the flexible cap until the liquid level returns to the desired level. Choose the way you will measure the temperature (oral, axillary, rectal), according to the instructions for use, and measure for a minimum of 5 minutes to avoid errors. Oral use of the thermometer requires that the patient must not chew, speak or move during the measurement. Measuring range: 35°C – 42°C.
